AI Disclosure
Our Commitment to Transparency
Brevwork is an AI-native professional services firm. AI is not a hidden tool we use behind the scenes -- it is central to how we operate, and we believe you deserve to know exactly how it works.
This disclosure explains how we use AI, what it means for the work we deliver, and what rights you have as a customer.
How AI Is Used in Our Business
AI is involved in most of what we do at Brevwork. Here is a straightforward breakdown:
Service Delivery
- Content creation — AI drafts articles, blog posts, website copy, and other written content based on your brief and our expertise.
- SEO strategy — AI helps analyze keywords, structure content for search performance, and generate optimization recommendations.
- Technical writing — AI produces documentation, SOPs, guides, and other technical materials.
- Business automation — AI helps design and implement workflow automations, process improvements, and operational systems.
- Research and analysis — AI assists with market research, competitor analysis, and data synthesis.
Digital Products
- Our templates, prompt libraries, and guides are created using AI, then reviewed and refined by a human.
Business Operations
- AI assists with internal operations including email drafting, scheduling, planning, and administrative tasks.
What AI Tools We Use
Our primary AI tool is Claude, developed by Anthropic. Claude is a large language model designed with a focus on safety, helpfulness, and honesty.
Key facts about Claude and how we use it:
- We use Anthropic's commercial API, which does not use customer inputs to train models. Your data remains your data.
- We may use additional AI tools for specific tasks (e.g., image generation, code assistance). If we do, we will disclose this for the relevant project.
- We do not use AI tools that retain or learn from your proprietary information.
How Quality Is Ensured
AI is powerful, but it is not infallible. Our quality assurance process ensures every deliverable meets professional standards:
- Human-directed — Mike Heintzman, the business owner, directs all AI work. Every project begins with human judgment about strategy, approach, and requirements.
- AI-produced — AI generates drafts and working materials based on detailed instructions and your project brief.
- Human-reviewed — Mike reviews all client-facing deliverables before delivery. This includes checking for accuracy and factual correctness, relevance to your specific needs and context, tone, style, and brand alignment, logical consistency, and quality of writing and professionalism.
- Client-approved — You review the work and can request revisions. Nothing is final until you are satisfied.
What This Means for You
The Benefits
- Faster delivery — AI enables us to deliver high-quality work in a fraction of the time traditional agencies require.
- Lower cost — Our AI-native model means lower overhead, and we pass those savings on to you.
- Consistent quality — AI does not have off days. Combined with human review, you get reliable, consistent output.
- Scalable capacity — We can handle projects of varying size without sacrificing quality or turnaround time.
What You Should Know
- Your input matters — The quality of AI output depends heavily on clear briefs and good source material. The more context you provide, the better the result.
- Revisions are normal — AI-generated first drafts, like human first drafts, often benefit from refinement. We build revision rounds into every project.
- Industry expertise is yours — You know your business and industry better than any AI. We rely on your domain knowledge to guide the work.
AI Limitations We Acknowledge
We believe honesty about limitations is essential to trust. Here is what AI cannot do:
- Guarantee factual accuracy — AI can generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information (sometimes called "hallucination"). Our human review process catches these errors, but we are transparent that this risk exists.
- Replace professional judgment — AI output is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Our deliverables are professional services work, not expert counsel in regulated fields.
- Understand your business completely — AI works with the information it is given. It does not have the lived experience, relationships, or intuitive understanding that comes from years in your industry.
- Guarantee specific outcomes — No tool, AI or otherwise, can guarantee business results like revenue growth or search rankings.
- Exercise emotional intelligence — While AI can write with empathy, it does not truly understand human emotions. For sensitive communications, human judgment guides the work.
Human Oversight Commitment
Mike Heintzman personally oversees all client work. Specifically:
- Every project proposal is reviewed by Mike before it is sent to you.
- Every deliverable is reviewed by Mike before it is delivered to you.
- Every client communication is reviewed or authored by Mike.
- Strategic decisions about your project are made by Mike, not delegated to AI.
AI is our most powerful tool. Mike is the person responsible for how it is used.
Your Rights as a Customer
You have the following rights regarding AI use in your projects:
- Request human review — You can request that any deliverable receive additional human review at any time. There is no extra charge for this.
- Ask questions — You can ask us at any point how AI was used in a specific deliverable or process, and we will answer honestly.
- Opt out of specific AI uses — If you have concerns about AI being used for a particular aspect of your project, let us know and we will discuss alternatives.
- Request disclosure — If you need documentation of AI involvement for your own compliance or transparency requirements, we will provide it.
EU AI Act Compliance
The EU AI Act establishes requirements for AI transparency and risk management. Brevwork's position:
- Risk classification — Our services fall under limited-risk and minimal-risk categories. We do not operate in high-risk domains (healthcare diagnostics, legal adjudication, law enforcement, etc.).
- Transparency obligation — We meet and exceed the AI Act's transparency requirements by publishing this disclosure, informing all clients that AI is used, and providing details upon request.
- Human oversight — All client deliverables are reviewed by a human, consistent with the AI Act's emphasis on human oversight of AI systems.
- Ongoing compliance — As the AI Act's provisions continue to take effect (including general-purpose AI requirements in August 2026), we will update our practices and this disclosure accordingly.
We are committed to meeting or exceeding AI transparency requirements in all jurisdictions where we serve customers.
Why We Choose Transparency
Many businesses use AI without telling their customers. We take the opposite approach because:
- You deserve to know. When you hire someone, you should understand how the work gets done.
- It builds trust. The businesses that try to hide AI use will lose credibility when customers find out. We would rather earn your trust upfront.
- It sets expectations. Understanding our process helps you work with us more effectively.
- It is the right thing to do. As AI becomes more prevalent, transparent use sets a standard we believe the entire industry should follow.
Questions?
If you have any questions about how we use AI, we are happy to discuss. Transparency is not just a policy for us -- it is a value.
